Waychime started from a very real problem in my own life. My daily commute is around two hours by train. As a dad with a full-time job and young children at home, that train ride is often the quiet time I get to rest and recharge. But in Melbourne, trains don’t always run perfectly on schedule. I realised that traditional time-based alarms weren’t reliable enough for commuting. What I really needed was something that could wake me up based on where I actually was. Waychime is a destination-based alarm app. Instead of setting a time, you simply choose where you want to wake up, and the app notifies you as you approach your stop. Current requirements: • iOS 26 or above • English only for now A small but important disclaimer: this is still a beta build. Please don’t rely on Waychime as your only way to wake up during testing. I’m confident in the app, but while testing, please keep a backup alarm or stay aware of your journey. Thank you so much
