markru is a Markdown note app for iPhone that treats your notes like books worth coming back to. Instead of dumping everything into a flat list, markru moves notes through a Desk → Bookshelf → Re-read flow — quick-capture on the Desk, promote to your Bookshelf when it’s ready, and bundle related notes into Bound Books you can read page by page. Features include a full Markdown editor with heading/list/checklist shortcuts, AI-powered tagging and formatting (Apple Intelligence on iOS 26+), Share Extension for importing from Safari or Notes, reading progress tracking, edit history, Home Screen widget for quick capture, and iCloud sync. Supports English and Japanese.
